The Following factors should be considered before choosing a name for your company
- The terms 'limited' or 'Private Limited' can only be used at the end of the company's name.
- The name should not be identical or even similar to already existing companies in a way that may be misleading.
- The name should not contravene prevailing laws or be undesirable in view of public interest, morality, decency, or etiquette. Some of the blacklisted words are: "F**k," "Abuse," "Mahadev," "Hindu," "TEST," "Mustang," "Bi**h," "1," "Amen," "Dog," "Hell Yeah."
- · The name should not be identical or similar to a company whose registration has been cancelled or has been insolvent within the past 5 years.
· When assessing whether a company name is similar to another:
- The distinction between "Pvt Ltd" and "Ltd" does not differentiate names, for example, "ABC Pvt Ltd" and "ABC Ltd."
- Adding terms like "New" or "Shree" does not create a distinct name. For instance, "The Coffee Company" and "Coffee Company" are considered identical.
- The use of commas and semicolons does not significantly alter the similarity, for example,
- Minor differences in spelling, such as "ABC Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd." and "ABC Cosmetic Pvt. Ltd.," do not distinguish names.
Quoting the example provided in the directives:

- For schools, the name of the place should be used compulsorily after the name (e.g., Bright Future English Boarding School Chitwan).
- ".com" or "dot com" is not allowed to be used.
- Words like "A," "An," "The," "New," "Super," "Om," "Nepal," "International," "Shree" should not be used before an existing company name.
